Toro TRX walk-behind trenchers are now more efficient and powerful than ever. We’ve improved our lineup with two new models that combine the groundbreaking maneuverability the TRX walk-behind trencher is known for, with even better performance and serviceability.

Intelli-Trench
Intelli-Trench™ provides optimized hydraulic performance and automatically diverts the hydraulic flow from the traction motors to the trencher motor when needed, delivering higher torque while reducing trenching times. Track speed is also adjusted faster and more accurately, eliminating the need for constant manual adjustment of the traction controls.

Streamlined Controls
The TRX’s streamlined controls are easy to learn and operate. The new design includes the familiar TRX trencher valve handle and boom lift lever, as well as independent traction control for the left track and the right track.

Simplified Service
The new TRX design has significantly fewer parts than previous models, simplifying maintenance and potentially reducing service needs.

Boom Motion
The boom lift and lower function has been enhanced hydraulically, allowing the boom to move up and down smoothly.

Maneuverability
The track drive design provides a low center of gravity and large footprint, offering stability and increased maneuverability while minimizing damage to existing turf.

Bore Drive Head
Easily bore under driveways and sidewalks to simplify irrigation and cable installations. Design allows for boring unit to be lowered into the trench to aide in level operation.

Backfill Blade
Installed in less than a minute without tools to allow TRX to complete trenching job. Cut job time and labor by using the TRX to backfill the open trench efficiently.

Custom Trailer
Easy to load on any trailer, including Toro’s custom TRX trailer with an easy-to-use, built-in securing system. No need for straps or tie-downs. Tailgate design is safer and makes it easier to load than tilt-bed trailers. Trailer features highway rated tires.

24″, 36″ or 48″ reversible booms available

Trencher Crumber
The Toro crumber is designed specifically to make the trench bottom clean and smooth. The crumber follows behind the chain to clean all “crumbs” from the bottom of the trench. The hardend tip of the crumber pulls any loose material back into the chain teeth.
